SCHOLARSHIPS
The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Inc. awards scholarships to students from the St. Louis Metropolitan area to support their college education and career goals.
Currently the Agency offers two scholarship programs: the Leslie Scholarship and the UMB William Robinson Memorial Scholarship.
Scholarship recipients demonstrate a range of academic fields by majoring in subjects as diverse and challenging as mechanical, electrical and aerospace engineering, biology, chemistry, business, accounting, law and pre-med.
Generous donations and gifts from individuals and organizations throughout the St. Louis community are used to fund these programs. Scholarship awardees are selected based on their academic achievement, community service, character, and financial need.
ELIGIBILITY: Must be:

U.S. citizen and a resident of the St. Louis Metropolitan area - High school graduate

No older than 24 years of age

An active participant in community / volunteer activity

Accepted by a college or university
Must have:

2.5 grade point average or better for the Leslie Scholarship

3.0 grade point average or better for the UMB William Robinson Memorial Scholarship
MUST NOT BE AN IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER OF AN URBAN LEAGUE OF METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS EMPLOYEE OR AN IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER OF AN URBAN LEAGUE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBER.
