GED/HISET

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc. hosts a General Education Diploma (GED) program in partnership with St. Louis Public Schools.

The program is for anyone seeking to continue their primary and secondary education. This program is comprehensive and provides many courses from grades 1 through 12. Basic educational coursework is offered in reading, writing, mathematics, oral communications, natural sciences and social studies with an emphasis in the development of critical thinking, problem solving skills, and career planning.

Students work closely with the instructor to establish short and long term educational goals; including the attainment of a High School Equivalency Certificate (HiSet) or General Education Diploma (GED). The program has two scheduling options and is open to the entire community.

By design, this program is (Open entry & Open exit) for flexibility in meeting as many individual needs as possible.
